Nova Racers is an upcoming hybrid board and mobile card game published by A.P.E Games.
I was brought on to consult and develop the graphic design and direction for all the game components including, packaging, art direction and logo. The game's graphics were in a prototype state with RGB art from the digital game and some illustrative assets.
My design took the game's graphic design to high contrast art style inspired by retro games and synth-wave art style. This game takes advantage of the strengths of the high-contrast CMKY print process to create a thematic, distinctive and cohesive design. As part of the design process, I also conducted a usability test to design graphics to enhance the player experience.
